Essential Haircare

With the same care, vision and passion as the herbalists of Renaissance times, we combined science and tradition with the essence of Mediterranean herbs, flowers and fruit to bring you Davines/Essential Haircare. We conceived a range of product families for daily care, each with their own ‘nick’ name, and all with the essential desire to do what the name promises. Each family contains select, active ingredients that offer immediate and targeted effects for specific hair needs, and are enriched with natural anti-oxidant and protective properties.

Moisturizing Shampoo pH 5.5
DRY & DEHYDRATED HAIR
We created this moisture-rich formula with just the right balance of selective, natural ingredients to restore the depleted elements dry hair needs to be healthy again. The combination of vitamins C, B, PP in Rocket Extract (Arugula) provide an anti-radical, anti-stress action to protect hair from environmental aggressors. Sweet Almond Proteins bond with hair for a protective action that also deeply hydrates and restores its body. And we chose Olive Ampho Acetate – derived from Olive Oil - for its natural ability to effectively but non-aggressively cleanse hair, leaving it soft and silky.

Moisturizing Revitalizing Creme pH 3.5
DRY & DEHYDRATED HAIR
To revitalize dry, dehydrated hair we found essential extracts that work in synergy, maximizing their hydrating, protecting and shine-enhancing action. Milk Thistle Oil, Panthenol and Jojoba Oil moisturize, soften hair and add shine without weighing it down. We enriched the formula with Rhizobian Gum, a natural active ingredient that selectively releases moisturizers according to your hair’s needs and adds natural body.

Moisturizing Anti Aging Daily Cream pH 5.3
DRY & DEHYDRATED HAIR
We blended a rich mix of extracts, vitamins and a UV filter to create a unique, multi-benefit formula that deeply moisturizes, protects and controls hair. Lupin Extract, rich in vitamins and proteins, provides deep down nourishment and moisture. Rice Protein adds even more moisture and creates a protective shield. Walnut Extract and Vitamin E work in synergy to block free radicals and protect hair from the daily harm of sun and pollution. And we infused Jojoba Oil to soften the hair and add shine.

Moisturizing Curl Enhancing Serum pH 5.4
CURLY & FRIZZY HAIR
Defining the shape of curly and frizzy hair while moisturizing and protecting it without weighing it down called for a special combination of active ingredients. We give hair the moisture it needs with Fig Milk and Rhizobian Gum which also adds natural body. Grapefruit Seed Extract protects hair with an anti-oxidant and anti-pollution action and Hydrolized Wheat Proteins add an additional protective shield. Since curly and frizzy hair tends to lack luster, we infused three natural shine enhancers - Panthenol, Mica and Silicones.

Moisturizing Anti Frizz Protective Fluid pH 5.0
CURLY & FRIZZY HAIR
To keep curly and frizzy hair soft and smooth, we created a formula that eliminates frizz and counteracts the effects of humidity. We achieved just the right composition of moisturizing and protective principles with Grapefruit Seed Extract for its anti-oxidant and anti-pollution action, Elder Extract which creates a protective barrier, and Rhizobian Gum which moisturizes and adds natural body. We also added Jojoba Oil, Silicones and Mica to restore the softness and shine this hair type tends to lack.

Nourishing Illuminating Shampoo pH 5.0
COLOUR TREATED HAIR
Colour treated hair needs deep nourishment to restore its strength, body and shine. We chose Chesnut Milk - rich in carbohydrates, vitamins, mineral salts and lipids – to deeply moisturize and internally nourish hair and the roots, Hydrocreatine to internally strengthen hair and increase elasticity, and Rice Proteins to condition and protect hair from harmful environmental elements. To prolong color’s vibrancy, we made it free of sodium-chloride and added Silicone Micro Emulsions to illuminate hair’s natural tones.

Nourishing Illuminating Cream pH 4.2
COLOUR TREATED HAIR
This rich blend of interactive ingredients restructure, nourish, protect and restore body to colour treated hair. Sweet Almond Butter and Vitamin F work together to internally restructure the hair shaft and replenish the nourishment it lacks while Hydrocreatine internally strengthens hair and increases elasticity. Tomato Extract protects hair from free radicals and works with the Rhizobian Gum to maintain colour’s vibrancy while also selectively releasing moisturizers according to your hair’s needs and adding natural body.

Nourishing Repairing Mask pH 3.0
DRY & BRITTLE HAIR
To repair damaged hair and restore its softness and shine, we sourced natural ingredients with deep nourishing and moisturizing effects. Olive Butter nourishes, softens and protects hair while also preventing fly-aways. For intense moisturizing action, we combined Cherry Oil and Rhizobian Gum which also adds natural body. Jojoba Oil was infused to soften hair and make it shiny again.

Delicate Ritual Shampoo pH 5.5
FINE & STRESSED HAIR
We specifically formulated a shampoo mild enough to give fine hair moisture and strength without weighing it down. We use a delicate filtration process to extract the specific mineral salts found in Carrot Extract to fortify and protect hair. Sweet Almond Proteins bond with hair for a protective action while also deeply hydrating and restoring its body. We chose Olive Ampho Acetate – derived from Olive Oil – for its natural ability to effectively but non-aggressively cleanse hair, leaving it soft and silky.

Delicate Replenishing Leave-in Mist pH 4.0
FINE & STRESSED HAIR
Fine hair tends to lose its volume quickly so we developed this innovative, dual-action formula that conditions, protects and strengthens without leaving hair heavy. We chose Grape Extract because of its powerful anti-oxidant effect to protect the hair, and infused Panthenol to moisturize and add shine, leaving hair soft and silky.

WAVY & CURLY HAIR
We blended a few essential extracts with special conditioning agents to create a luxurious cream that leaves curls soft, well-defined and tangle-free. Myrtle Extract restores moisture for softness and shine, and also provides an anti-oxidant effect with its high content of Vitamin C. Olive Oil Peg 7 Ester helps recover the moisture-lipid level which is essential to curly hair that tends to be dry, leaving it soft, silky and shiny.

Lovely Curl Enhancing Conditioner pH 3.8
WAVY & CURLY HAIR
To complement LOVE shampoo, we developed a luxurious cream conditioner with intense anti-dryness and softening actions to tame curls and make them soft, bouncy and tangle-free. The anti-oxidizing agents in Pistachio Oil protect hair with an anti-aging action while Rice Wax deeply nourishes, protecting hair against dehydration. We’ve added High Molecular Weight Silicone to soften hair and add shine.

HARSH & FRIZZY HAIR
To make unruly hair more manageable, we created a blend of natural ingredients with intensive moisturizing and smoothing actions. Indian Fig Extract deeply moisturizes, smoothes and softens hair. Olive Oil Peg 7 Ester work together to recover the moisture-lipid level which is essential to curly hair that tends to be dry, leaving it soft, silky and shiny. We also added Rice Proteins to keep hair protected from harmful environmental elements.

HARSH & FRIZZY HAIR
This rich, creamy formula controls coarse and unruly hair with a special blend of moisturizers, conditioners and silicones that eliminate frizz, soften hair and add incredible shine. Rice Wax deeply nourishes with its high content of Vitamin E, and protects hair against dehydration while Borage Seed Oil tames hair, adds an additional level of protection and stimulates the scalp.

Styling products and pollution eventually build up on the hair, leaving it dull and heavy. This formula was developed to effectively remove these impurities while restoring hair’s natural body and silkiness. Barley Extract nourishes hair and also soothes and protects the scalp. Sweet Almond Proteins bond with hair for a protective action that also deeply moisturizes, strengthens and restores its body. And we chose Olive Ampho Acetate - derived from Olive Oil - for its natural ability to effectively but non-aggressively cleanse hair, leaving it soft and silky. 

REST / TREATMENT
Deep Restructuring Serum pH 8.5
DAMAGED & BRITTLE HAIR
When hair becomes extremely damaged, it demands professional attention. We formulated this quick action, in-salon treatment to rebuild the hair’s structure at different levels and restore its elasticity and body. Hydrolized Wheat and Rice Proteins - which contain the same amino acids (proteins) in the hair’s keratin - penetrate and repair hair by replacing the lost proteins and also provide a protective shield. Potato Extract, rich in vitamins and mineral salts, has a soothing effect and calms any scalp irritations.
